The Best Travel Bucket List for Families
The world is wide and there’s so many amazing places to explore. Hearing other peoples travel adventures makes me want to see the world even more. Traveling with 4 kids, including 2 autistic ones and an infant, worried me beyond belief. But after our family stayed in Paris for over 2 weeks we realized that not only is it possible, it can also be the most wonderful experience.
We have started to compile our family bucket list. Some adventures are small and would be a day trip, others are life goals and will cost a few more dollars. Living in Alberta can make travel a little more difficult. It take hours and hours to drive anywhere and half of us get easily car sick - yuck! Thankfully, no one has a problem with flying, so that seems to be the best option. Some of these Quinn and I have been to, either separate or together, but we’d love to experience these with our kids.

Welcome to Holland is an insightful poem highlighting the experience of becoming a special needs parent. Every parent should read this poem, especially those with autistic or cleft children. Being an autism parent is like living in a foreign land you were unprepared for, but you are not alone, so many of us are right there with you.
